We talk a lot about cyber security and better protecting businesses against any forms of malicious attack. Now with the mandatory data breech laws fully into affect, businesses need to place a higher degree of emphasis on their data security than ever before.

The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) in the last 12 months has upgraded their advice when it comes to protecting businesses data. Formerly known as the TOP 4, it is now known as the ESSENTIAL 8 and are considered an absolute minimum for protecting data.

Now, the ASD has developed a maturity model where the standards are categorized into a level of maturity and compliance. The higher the maturity the better the protection that the business has in place.

We've developed a tool that allows businesses to self assess and find the weaknesses that may be in their business data security. It gives you a score out of 100 and shows the areas that you might want to improve on and the areas that you are already strong in.
